Pacific Joinery in Artarmon specializes in creating custom made quality timber windows and doors, any size, any shape. It is specialised custom made joinery (traditional, modern and contemporary styles) for which we are renown. We are skilled in matching replacement joinery for restorations and damages.

The design of each timber window, window frame, door and door frame is limitless depending on your budget and requirements.

We have had some unusual requests including the manufacture of replacement seats for a ride at Luna Park, front doors to a Fire Station and replacement door for an old red public telephone box! So, whatever you need manufactured from timber, ask us first.

In creating timber windows and doors for you, we:

Take care in selecting the best quality materials which means, we look for straight and knot free timber, colour uniformity and texture
Apply traditional joinery techniques including, for example, mortice and tenon jointing to make the end product strong and long lasting

Timber selection:

The most frequently used timber is Western Red Cedar, followed by Pacific Maple (Maranti) and Oregon. All timber sections used are solid and not laminated or veneered. Our good relationships with timber merchants allows us to source other species as well.

What we look for in timber is:

Colour uniformity
Straight
No knots
Texture

Glass supply/selection:

We also supply cut to size glass, arrange lead light repairs, and glaze windows and doors to the relevant standards as required. Clear float glass, patterned, toughened and laminated can be supplied.

Electrical services

We also provide Electrical services for industrial, commercial and domestic installations, from changing light bulbs to complete rewiring.
